Attached is the permission slip for our January campout on the 24-26th. We will be tent camping at Otter Run out in East Liberty just west of Columbus. We also have the pavilion reserved.
The activity for the campout will be a day of tubing at Mad River. We will need additional adults on this trip to handle transportation to/from Mad River and the campsite on Saturday. Everyone had a blast last year when we did this so we hope you consider joining us.
Although we are tent camping, we do have plans for making a warm area at Otter Run. We plan to tarp off the walls of the pavillion and bring portable heaters. This should make it warm enough for everyone to be comfortable.
Please be sure to visit our website for tips on camping in winter weather. It’s important everyone plans on bringing a dry set of winter clothes to change into as soon as we get back from tubing. Hats and gloves are required for everyone attending.
